2022 Edition

From March 1, 2022 to May 1, 2022
Show how they feel

We repeat ourselves: the planet has its limits, which our humanity has exceeded. But we ask ourselves: can humanity surpass itself and overcome the challenges of this social and environmental crisis?

The "Fais voir ce qu'ils ressentent" competition is open to all, committed filmmakers and talented amateurs alike.

Gather the voices of those around you who are confronting the environmental crisis in their daily lives, investing, researching and questioning the urgency of deploying solutions to deal with it.

The expected format? A video of 3 minutes maximum, horizontal format 16:9, with no text on the screen, no music , and produced around a testimonial that makes people see and understand.

Your achievement is a commitment, a hope for changing things and improving our living environment in a fairer, healthier and more sustainable way.
We're counting on your participation.

Good luck!

PRICES

This year, we're thinking about our carbon footprint! The winners of the various prizes will receive production or equipment grants to continue their work.
The ePOP Grand Prix will be accompanied by three special mentions. All videos submitted are eligible for the various prizes if they meet the conditions and themes for the awards.
ePOP GRAND PRIZE

For the winner
Production grant of €4,500

For the top 10

ePOP promotional kit: ePOP certificate with name and place, T-shirt, goodies

The purpose of this award is to enable our Laureate to be heard and recognized, now and in the future.

That's why this grant will be paid out in two instalments: the first of €3,000 will be paid once the winner has been chosen, and the second of €1,500 will be paid once we have received a film of at least five minutes made by the winner with the support of RFI Planète radio and IRD.

This film will then be broadcast on ePOP and partner networks on a large scale, in order to further promote the winner's work.
YOUNG DIRECTOR'S AWARD

For the winner

A €1,000 equipment grant & ePOP promotional kit

Conditions of attribution: the person making the video must be a woman and no more than 25 years old on the day the video is submitted.

Despite a marked improvement in the number of female directors taking part in last year's ePOP competition, they are still under-represented among their male colleagues. ePOP is therefore once again committed to promoting female talent, and will be offering the winner of this year's award a professional camera to pursue her projects in the best possible conditions.
RFI Clubs Award

In partnership with RFI Clubs

Club RFI

For the winner

A €1,000 equipment grant & ePOP promotional kit

Conditions of attribution: the video must be submitted by a member of an RFI club. If you are a club member, please indicate this when submitting your video.
ePOP Jury Prize

For the winner

A €1,000 equipment grant & ePOP promotional kit

This year, the ePOP coordination team will elect its favorite. This is an opportunity to highlight the work of an ePOPer who, through a sequence, a word or an idea, has won the unanimous approval of the ePOP team!
What if the video isn't technically perfect? Too bad! That's what the equipment grant is for.

Grand Prix

Under the patronage of French slam artist and filmmaker GRAND CORPS MALADE, the 2022 edition of the ePOP Contest features four juries made up of personalities from very different backgrounds. Because if the issue is universal, so is the commitment.

Women and men of the media, scientists, artists, project leaders, each brings his or her own sensibility to the table, with the aim of selecting together the most compelling testimonials.
